Wait...what? A recipe that doesn't involve chicken? That's rare here. Sure, it's still poultry and pasta, but it's a step in the right direction. I used ground turkey, turkey bacon and condensed tomato soup with this recipe and it turned out alright. I think next time I would use real bacon crumbles instead of turkey bacon, maybe just because turkey bacon never cooks for me properly. Or rather, I can't properly cook turkey bacon. Anyway, the condensed tomato soup made it a bit on the salty side so maybe a non-condensed version would have been better.
The best news is: it makes fantastic leftovers. It made at least 3 healthy portions for me and I liked it even better the second time around. Just pop it in the microwave for a minute and you're set. Enjoy!
